HSBC partners Qatar Today Green Awards

HSBC renewed its partnership as the presenting partner for two consecutive years, the 2009 and 2010 editions of Qatar Today Green Awards (QTGA) - Qatar’s first environmental awards. The agreement for this partnership was signed on March 23 by Robert De Gama, Deputy CEO, HSBC and Ravi Raman, Vice President, Oryx Advertising Company WLL.

Launched in 2008 with an aim of recognising and rewarding worthy environmental initiatives, the QTGA generated tremendous awareness and interest among the participating sectors. The awards recognise and promote initiatives across a broad spectrum of activities - from individual to collective efforts - of businesses, educational, medical, and governmental institutions, and individuals. read more
